Review: Isntree Mugwort Toner Pads and Clay Mask

I was lucky enough to win the Isntree last giveaway and I get to try their new products. I have used their famous HA toner and Aloe gel and I love both of them, today I am sharing their Isntree Real Mugwort Clay Mask and newly launched Isntree Spot Saver Mugwort Toner Pads. I will start with the Mugwort toner pads first.

MY THOUGHTS

These pads came in a sturdy plastic tub packaging with no clipper which is totally fine by me. You get 60 pads in total in the tub which means if you use 2 as a mask on both cheeks you can still use them 30 times that is what I do mostly to use these as a mask to soothe the irritated skin. The pad size is 6.5cm which is quite nice.
The pads are not fully round and have a small slight curved cut in the pads which is pretty convenient when you are taking them out.
The Toner pads contain 100,000ppm of Ganghwa Injin Mugwort extract which is extracted by the time drop method. These Isntree spot saver toner pads also contain Cineol, Chlorogenic acid, Beta-carotene, vitamins, Calendula, Kava Kava and AQUAXYL.

The Isntree Mugwort toner pads have pure cotton gauze lining on the one side which helps in exfoliating the skin way better without irritating it, The backside is smooth and is made of pure cotton as well. I personally like to use the backside mostly as a mask.

The formulation of the toner is very lightweight and does not feel heavy or sticky at all. One can use them all year as they hydrate the skin really well without creating any film on the skin. I usually put them as a mask for 10 minutes and then use the front side( gauze side) on my blackhead and whitehead areas to exfoliate them gently. These pads do not have any particular scent to them and really help in soothing the skin especially the irritated and red skin.
Overall I am absolutely loving these pads as most of the pads over-exfoliate the skin and cause irritation on my sensitive skin. Of you have irritated/ acne-prone skin or sensitive skin you definitely need to try these pads.

MY THOUGHTS

This mask came in a 100ml size with a squeezing tube.
This mask contains 6 different clays which include the Kaolin, bentonite, ilite, montmorillonite, calcite and Canadian colloidal clay. It also contains 50,000ppm mugwort extract with the mugwort leaf powder and red bean powder which gently exfoliates the skin.
The mask is light green in color and as it contains the bean powder and mugwort leaf powder it has tiny particles of it which helps in gentle exfoliation. The mask is not much on the drying side which I personally like. It spread out easily and does not irritate the skin, I don’t like to physically exfoliate Personally but this mask is so gentle as when you are washing just go light-handed with your skin and you will be totally fine. It does have a herbal scent to it, I like to layer it pretty thick which way it does not dry quickly and does not irritate my skin. I personally like to have it on for 10-15 minutes mostly and then wash it with the lukewarm water. 

Sometimes I only use it on the areas where I need to soothe the skin. It really helps in removing the dirt and sebum without drying out the skin. It’s hard to believe as clay masks mostly dry the hack out of skin especially if you have dry skin. If you have blackheads problem as me you can only exfoliate those areas and it works really well to clean them.

I will make a bigger size of it because this mask totally deserves it. Definitely another hit for me. I am totally loving the Isntree products and honestly, they are so good and totally worth trying.
