Swap with Megan

For Christmas me and my friend Megan who has a youtube channel - here - decided to do a swap! Mine of course arrived way late, because the Norwegian post service (let's just leave it at that ha ha!), so I decided to save it for my birthday instead which was on January 31st. If you want to see what I sent Megan for christmas you can see her video about that here, now let me show you all the amazing things she sent me!

Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cream ( here )
We decided to do a mix of items where we would choose a few things we wanted, and the rest would be a surprise decided by the other person. Everything came wrapped in beautiful wrapping paper, one of them shown here in the background. First I'm going to show you the things I requested, and first out is of course a Kate Somerville product. The Goat Milk Cream has been raved about by "everyone" it seems and is something I've been wanting to try for absolutely ages. Megan was raving about it in a video a while back, and when I told her how gutted I was I couldn't buy it over here, this was when she offered to send it to me and the whole swap "got started". I haven't opened it yet as I want to finish my La Mer completely before I do, but I am so excited to finally try this!

Bite Beauty Agave Lip Maskhere )
Another brand that's an US exclusive that's been talked about a lot lately is Bite Beauty. I of course want to also try their lipsticks at some point, but decided the lip mask was the most exciting. I've got lips that are always dry and the sound of a super nourishing lip mask is very intriguing. I really wanted to try it since Gummy, who I've also gotten to know through blogging, (her blog is really good, you should definitely check it out if you haven't already!), raved about it in this post.

Living Proof PHD Perfect Hair Day 5-in-1 Styling Treatmenthere )
And then we have the LisaLisaD1 initiated purchase. Living Proof's PHD is impossible to get over here. I've even been to places that stock Living Proof products, like SpaceNK in Dublin, who didn't have it either. Sephora also won't ship it, so getting this through a swap was the only way to finally try the "5-in-1 miracle worker" and I'm so excited about this one as well. I'm excited about all of the items - let's just say that now, and then I'll try to not say excited in every sentence from now on!

Bath and Body Works PocketBac Hand Sanitizers in 'Pumpkin Frost', 'Farmstand Apple' & 'Cozy Vanilla Cream'here )
The final item(s) I requested are the Bath and Body Works Pocketbac Hand Sanitizers. I've always loved how small these are, they fit perfectly in a smaller makeup bag, and love the cute scents. Megan picked out Cozy Vanilla Cream, Pumpkin Frost and Farmstand Apple. I love all of them and am currently using the Vanilla one - it smells so good!

Philosophy The Holiday Handbook ( limited edition )
First of the items Megan surprised me with was this holiday edition of three small sized Philosophy hand creams. I did say I would love to try something by Philosophy though, as the brand is not available in Norway, and these hand creams were just perfect. The smaller size makes them great for carrying around in your handbag and they smell really good as well!

Real Techniques Nick's Picks ( here )
I was so surprised to find the Nick's Picks Real Techniques Brush Set in here, but pleasantly so! I've been on the fence about getting this for so long. I love most of the Real Techniques brushes I have, but I've got so many brushes now overall that I just couldn't justify getting another set. Getting it as a gift however is perfect as I get to try it completely guilt-free!

Jesse's Girl Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner ( here )
Megan's raved a lot about this eyeliner on her channel, which makes me really excited to try it. I love liquid eyeliners and actually am just about out of my current favourite by Tom Ford so this couldn't have arrived at a better time!

Louise Young LY38 Brushhere )
Another brush, this one by Louise Young. I've never tried any Louise Young brushes, but have heard a lot of people talk about it over the years and been really keen to try some of them. I've never been able to locate the brand anywhere though, so getting this was such a fun surprise as well.

L.A. Colors Nail Polish Remover 32 Padshere )
Finally there was this cute little tub of nail polish remover pads. I've never heard of the brand before, but after doing some research it's acetone free and apparently is nicely scented which sounds good to me! These pads are also super convenient to take along when traveling, so these will be put to good use for sure!

Finally I just want to say a big thank you to Megan again for all the nice things she got me! This was a lot of fun and I hope we can do it again some time. If you haven't checked out Megan's channel, you should - she does a lot of videos of project pan, use-it-up projects and is focusing on downsizing and appreciating the things she already owns. If that sounds like your cup of tea, then I'm sure you'd love her channel; here.
