I finished quite a few things this month, even some makeup! I've also started clearing out stuff that is old, dried up or that I never use. Little by little I'm clearing out more and more stuff that is causing clutter and have been noticing that I am getting more room to organise my products in a much nicer way.
Clarins Moisture-Rich Body Lotion with Shea Butter in 100ml and 400ml
I actually went through a total of 500ml of this, that's quite a lot! I've gone through quite a few of these already and have a couple more of the deluxe samples still. I adore this body lotion. It's a simple one. It has a very pleasant rosy smell. It absorbs well, moisturises perfectly and doesn't leave a residue or irritate my skin. It's nothing too special, but it's still great at doing what it's supposed to.
La Prairie Skin Caviar Luxe Body Emulsion 30ml
This stuff is really nice. It moisturises incredibly well and the shiny finish of it makes my leg look fantastic! I've applied this to my legs when wearing a dress and going out or to dinner and it's quite the little wonder product. Do I think it's worth the insane price tag? Not really as I'm pretty sure you can achieve similar results with something much cheaper. Price aside though, it's quite a fabulous product.
Clarins Renew-Plus Body Serum 100ml
This is my second deluxe bottle of this, I finished my first one in New York and threw it away there. It's quite nice. I enjoyed especially using it during the day as it's quite light and absorbs quickly. It has a slight smell, but nothing too strong and it doesn't linger. I can't really say I noticed any age-defying results, but I'm 24 so I can't really test it for that.
Molton Brown Invigorating Suma Ginseng Bath & Shower 30ml
I finished another little deluxe sample of Molton Brown shower gel. I love Molton Brown and I love my Pink Pepperpod and Yuan Zhi. This one was just as nice in terms of the actual product itself, but the smell is a bit too manly for my tastes so I won't be buying this specific one.
Biotherm Eau Vitaminée Uplifting Shower Gel 75ml
I've used other Biotherm shower gels in the past and while I love their Aquathermale one others, including this one, has left me underwhelmed. This one is absolutely fine and I had no problem using it in terms of the product, it just didn't wow me much. I also can't say I like the smell of this very much. It reminded me of Vitamin C chewy tablets with that really artificial citrus taste.
Philip Kingsley Stimulating Scalp Mask 20ml
I don't have the worst case of itchy scalp, but I do suffer from it from time to time. I decided to buy the little size of this to try along with my scalp toner a few months back. This mask left me completely underwhelmed. When used as a mask I found it did absolutely nothing. I wash my hair usually because my scalp is itching and not because my hair is dirty or oily. In the end I found the best use for this was to apply it to my scalp on days when I was going to wash my hair for some instant soothing and relief. It worked for that, for maybe an hour or two. Not something I will be buying and I'm happy I only got the small size.
Vichy Nutriextra Hands 50ml
This is quite a nice hand cream. I used it night time and started using this after I finished my La Roche Posay Lipikar Xerand Hand Repair Cream. This one is nice. It moisturised well and kept my hands in quite good shape throughout the following day without a constant need to apply hand cream all the time. I still prefer the Lipikar Xerand cream and so will be sticking to that, but this one really is a great hand cream as well.
The Body Shop Wild Rose Hand Cream SPF 15 30ml
I initially really liked this due to it having SPF in it. I still like that aspect of it, but it's the only thing I like and so I will be looking to other hand creams with SPF in them instead, and preferably a higher one at that. I find this hand cream to take way too long to absorb, especially as it's obviously ment for use in daytime and not night due to the SPF. It also leaves quite an oily residue for quite a while, but doesn't nurture hands very well. I'm also not a big fan of the smell, but that's just my personal tastes.
Bvlgari Rose Essentielle L'Eau de Toilette Rosée 100ml & Chloé Eau De Parfum Intense 75 ml
I bought these two perfumes a little over a year ago at a closing down sale. I since realised that I don't really love the smells. I have many other perfumes that I absolutely adore and so I decided that instead of forcing myself to try and use these up while the ones I love sit unused getting old as well, I'm just going to give these two away to some friends if they want them. Life's just too short to spray yourself in perfume you don't even like.

I really like this daycream and can see myself buying it again in the future when I don't have any other creams left. I do think I prefer the cream-gel version though. Click the link above to see my review if you want to know more of my thoughts on this product.
Lancome Tonique Douceur Softening-Hydrating Toner 400ml - click here for review -
I think I'm definitely going to stop buying these mega-sized products. While their great value for money, no matter how great the product, and I really do love this toner, about halfway through you start hating it as you get so sick of looking at it for months on end. For me at least.
Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins Night Health 50ml
I'm quite annoyed I never got around to writing a review on this, especially as I think I won't repurchase again. It's a great cream and I've loved using this for most of this year. The problem is the packaging, I think. I find that it's fantastic the first few weeks of use. Then it slowly starts being less and less effective. My theory is that it's the jar packaging leaving the cream very disposed to air and so it goes off faster, especially as it doesn't have any parabens in it. It's not a very thick cream either so I really wish Origins would reconsider the packaging as the cream itself really is one of my favourites.
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair 7ml - click here for review -
I always take one of these samples with me when I go away for a night or longer. I also have a full sized ANR at home, but I like to finish these samples when I start them. I like it, not sure if I will re-purchase when I run out of samples and my big bottle.
La Roche-Posay Rosaliac AR Intense Localized Redness Intensive Serum 40ml
I've ended up loving almost everything from La Roche-Posay that I've tried, but this one was a massive fail. I wanted to use it just around my nose where I am more prone to redness, but this broke me out. I tried going back to it several times just to make sure if it was really this, and it happened everytime so unfortunately there is no doubt that it was this. The product itself is orange tinted and feels like a thinner balm. I hate throwing away something that's almost full, but I'm not going to force myself to use this and while I could probably use it on my arms or something like that, honestly, I just want to see it gone. I might try to see if someone I know would like to try it before throwing it away.
Kate Somerville D-Scar Scar Diminishing Serum 5ml
I got this deluxe sample in Sephora in New York and was quite excited when I saw what it was. As this is ment to be used for 6 weeks before seeing results, I couldn't put it properly to the test. Perhaps if I'd planned it better and only used it on one hyperpigmentation spot I could have maximised the use, but of course I didn't think of that until right now! I didn't see any results when using this, at all, and while perhaps I would've if using it longer, it still didn't perk my interest. I can't get a hold of Kate Somerville products in Europe either way though.
SK-II Facial Treatment Essence 10ml
Like most of you I've heard and read raves about this stuff for years and always been very keen to try it. It's so expensive though. I was very excited when I received this in a GWP at Saks Fifth Avenue when I was in New York. I used it consecutively the last few days there, wanting to test it properly. Unfortunately I forgot about it when I got home, and ended up finishing the last half of the bottle a week later, so I didn't get to test it as much as I wanted to. I felt like my skin looked a bit healthier and nicer when using this, but I'm not sure if that's just me really wanting it to be the wonder product people say it is or if it actually is. I would have to try this again and for a longer time to really have a proper opinion on it. It's true that it smells a bit funny though! Though nothing too bad.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar A.I. Targeted Breakout Corrector 15ml - click here for review -
This ate it's way through the cap and eventually got so gross it was definitely time to throw it out. There's some serious strength to the acids in there, that's for sure! I really liked this product when I first got it, as you can probably tell by my review. I've since discovered other things I like better. First the Origins Spot Remover and now finally Heal Gel which is my current favourite. I won't re-purchase this for that reason and I recommend those more, but I still feel this is a good product, just not as good as those.
Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes 25 wipes
I have to give myself a massive pat on the back for actually suffering through the remainder of these and finishing the packet. Though I'm not sure if I should have done that to my skin and eyes. I ran out of makeup remover at the end of my stay in New York and wanted something cheap and easy to use on my last few days. I got this as I used to use it years ago and quite liked it back then. I can't believe I did! This seriously stung my eyes and the texture of the wipes are so harsh and uncomfortable! I will never buy wipes again, especially not these!
Kate Somerville Quench Oil Free Hydrating Face Serum 2ml x 2
I received a total of 4 of these sachets when in New York as well. The first one I used I felt did absolutely nothing. The second one I felt provided my skin with a bit of moisture, but nothing near as good as my favourite Caudalie Vinosource SOS Thirst Quenching Serum. The third sachet I used after geting back and that one actually felt really nice on the skin and I woke up with skin that was noticeably less dehydrated. The last sachet was fantastic and provided lots of moisture and left my usually dehydrated skin plump, radiant and comfortable. I'm still way happy with my Caudalie and this isn't even available here so it doesn't really matter. I honestly don't know what to think of this serum to be honest.
RapidLash 3ml
I only just now realised this has only 3ml in it. This has to be the most expensive 3ml of anything I've ever bought. That being said, this worked. It takes a while of steady use, and you have to use it absolutely every single night. My lashes grew longer and was fuller. I stopped using this back in May due to my eyes being irritated. Not from RapidLash, but I still didn't want to apply anything else to my eyes at night time. I didn't take it with me to New York or Marbella and when I got back I felt uneasy about using it as it had been open for so long so I'm throwing the rest out. Don't think I would buy this again seeing how little product there is. I might try a similar product though.
RapidBrow 3ml
This stuff ran out so fast, and no wonder now that I know there's only 3ml inside the tube! That being said, this does work as well and I have re-purchased and think I will continue to. I've been trying to grow out my brows for over a year now and until I started using this I wasn't seeing much progress. Getting my naturally fuller brows back is something I really want so I will pay the price for these for as long as they keep giving results. I've gone through a whole tube of this and that didn't give a "complete treatment" so it's not providing results as fast as I'd like it to, but like I said, any progress at all is better than none.
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in B20 30ml - click here for review -
This has been one of my favourite foundations. I've loved using this and especially the ease of applying it as it's best applied using fingers. Unfortunately B20 can be just slightly too dark for my skin in the winter time, and B10 is too light and makes me look ill. Because of that I won't be re-purchasing this for now at least.
Bourjous Blush in 54 Rose Frisson 2,5g
Obviously this isn't finished. It's barely used. I think I've used this about a handful of times. It doesn't work for me. At all. I don't even know what I was thinking when I bought this last year in London. The colour doesn't work for me and the product itself is horrible. I can't for the life of me get any product onto my brush, let alone getting any colour payoff on my face. I will see if anyone I know will want to have a try at using it before throwing it away, but I'm sick of looking at it so it's not staying here any longer, that's for sure.
Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Concealer in 315 Ivory 1,5ml
This is another touche eclat wannabe highlighter pen. The product is ok. It covers minor dark undereye circles and does give a natural and nice result. My problem is with the applicator. It's a plastic wand and I hate it. When applying this the wand ends up moving your foundation around and when using it for touch-ups it's just an absolute mess. Bottom line; OK product, but I've used better and the packaging is a total fail in my book. Points for trying to be different, but sometimes there's just no need to mess with a good thing. Not something I will be buying again.
Loreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara in Black 9ml
I'll be honest and admit that this mascara is neither used up nor too old to continue using. It's just my OCD tendencies. I left this back home when going to New York and Marbella and when I returned it had been left unused for over a month and for some reason that just made me feel like I didn't want to continue using it, so off it goes. It's an ok mascara that I don't see myself buying again. It's good for when you want really natural lashes and only apply a little. It doesn't work at all when paired with the Dior Diorshow Maximiser. I also have figured out that I don't like plastic wands, and I really don't like wet formulas. It's OK, it's fine, it's not bad in any way, it's just not fantastic and so I'll be trying something different, that hopefully is fantastic!
GOSH Long Lasting Brow Pen in 004 Wheat 1,2ml
I wanted to try these brow pens and so I did try this and another shade from GOSH. They are not something I will be buying again as they are way too harsh for my taste. They were ok when paired with with eyeshadow (through the brows) and only used where my brows are very sparse. Ok as in wearable, not something I loved. Plus it was twice the hassle. It was fun to have tried it, but I will be sticking to eyeshadow for my brows.
Loreal Super Liner Perfect Slim in Intense Black
I used this last year and then it somehow got lost in the midst of other makeup. I found it when going through my makeup the other day for stuff to get rid off and into the empties bin it went. It's dried up long ago. About the product though; I loved this! It was really quick and easy. The line is nice and precise and it's a really intense black, which I love. It makes a really sophisticated liner. I prefer my gel liner for now, but if I ever feel like going back to the liquid pen form this will certainly be a consideration.
