* Born as the last child of a very crowded family on a day between the end of August and middle of September 1949 in Fatsa, ORDU (date of birth on the identity card is the 15th of April 1949).
He studied the primary and middle school in Fatsa and high school in Haydarpaşa High School in Istanbul as boarding student.
He has graduated from Marmara University Communication Faculty Radio-Television department.
He has started his cinema life after being a first in a contest held in 1969. After gaining experience in auxiliary roles for one year, he always played the head role.
He took role in 182 cinema movies and 7 television series.
His hobbies besides cinema are sociology, economy and politics. His special hobby is frog (rectum) collection.
